Assessment Resources for Parents

The Neptune Township School District has developed and administered high quality assessments in Mathematics and English Language Arts that are similar to the next generation of state standardized tests.  The tests are given to evaluate achievement gaps in student learning in relation to the new Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and help identify areas where targeted instruction is needed for individual students.  Students take the assessments three times a year (pre-test, midyear test, and post-test). The assessments work as a tool for enhancing teaching and learning. They also provide parents and teachers with information to identify students in need of additional academic support. At the conclusion of the assessment you will receive a student score report. The links below provide information regarding ways to support your child in mastering the standards.
